Publishing
Move material in and deliver a complete book out.
The native project is the source of truth. Imports help you begin, while exports create focused delivery formats without changing that source.
DOCX import
Choose File → Import and select a Word document. OYAMA Scribe streams the import, detects likely chapter boundaries, maps headings and notes, then opens a review step before the book is created. Use the review to confirm section names, matter groups, and any warnings.

PDF is the fixed-page delivery format. Before exporting, confirm trim, bleed, mirrored margins, chapter starts, running elements, and page numbering in Page Proof. Publishing updates page-dependent content when the project settings require it.

DOCX and EPUB
DOCX is useful for a structured handoff. EPUB is reflowable and therefore follows different assumptions from a print PDF: readers choose the viewport, while the book structure, notes, headings, links, and metadata remain important.
Choose the native format for the source
Save the complete project as .oyama. Plain text and RTF cannot preserve multiple sections, layout, notes, themes, or publishing settings, so the app warns before using those formats for a multi-section book.
